Brick Briscoe is a performer, singer / songwriter, composer, film maker, Television producer, and Radio personality, currently located in Indiana, USA.

Though rooted in the mid-west he finds himself spiritually and artistically tied to New York City, and Paris, France.

In his daily life, Brick Briscoe defies expectations and finds inspiration in the most unique of locations.

Much of his record “Brick Briscoe IV” was recorded / mixed in hospital while undergoing chemotherapy.

Brick continues to explore his sound, creating songs that paint a picture of restlessness and wonder, sprinkled liberally with a well matured angst.

Brick is a wanderer - both physically and creatively; he is just as obsessed with life on the open road, as he is trying to get you into the metaphorical bed!

His music wanders as well, yet he says that he finds “an unsettling safe house” somewhere between a punk rock edge, and a curious free form jazz / folk adventure; his buzzsaw and angular guitar riffs cutting a trail for his lyrics.

Brick’s live shows channel the things he spits out from his journey, always intense yet surprisingly sensitive - his shows go from a whisper to a howl in a fraction of a moment. It’s entertaining for sure, but there’s some thinking in the dance and things can get messy.

Brick Briscoe has written 100s of songs and scores, on his own and with other artists, He enjoys when he is deeply immersed in writing, producing, directing film and TV, and creating his radio show – ”The Song Show” and the “Any Road” TV show created while on the road and airing on PBS.
